By agreement of the Governing Council of the Supreme People's Court and the Provincial Assembly of People's Power, 20 law graduates took possession of their positions as judges and signed the Code of Judicial Ethics, in the mausoleum of the Calixto García Revolution Square, in the city of Holguín.

 

By the end of 2018 about 128,000 people in the province of Holguín will have enjoyed the facilities of Campismo Popular, a natural tourism modality with more than three decades of presence in Cuba as an affordable alternative for the Cuban family.

 

Students from the University of Medical Sciences “Mariana Grajales” in the province of Holguín marked the 147th Anniversary of the execution of the eight medical students, with a parade from the Quijote Park to the steps of the student residence of the eastern Cuban city.

 

The agricultural sector in Holguín will extend in the current campaign the cultivation of tobacco in more than one thousand hectares within the plan, the largest area in recent times as part of the measures to expand the harvest of that line.
