With a representation of Mexican folklore as a tribute to the culture of that country, the XXI edition of the Ibero-American Crafts Fair Iberoarte began today in the city of Holguín, which will run until October 22.
The XXI edition of the Iberoarte Crafts Fair will take place from October 5 to 22 in Holguín, as part of the activities for the Ibero-American Culture Festival, dedicated on this occasion to Mexican creations.
The award ceremony of the XXX Provincial Hall of Visual Arts in Holguín, the main exhibition event of that artistic manifestation in the territory, took place here with the presentation of the Electa Arenal Huerta distinction to the artist Roy González Escobar.
Holguín writer Emerio Medina won this Wednesday the Julio Cortázar Ibero-American Short Story Prize in its 21st edition for the story “The man who came to read.”
The XXX edition of the Provincial Hall of Visual Arts will take place from September 13 to 17 in Holguín as a reference space in Cuba, which brings together local artists, biennially, for the promotion of their works.
