Official mourning in Cuba over Death of Commander Juan Almeida

The Council of State of the Republic of Cuba has declared Sunday, September 13, a day of national mourning for the passing away of Revolution Commander Juan Almeida. On this day, the Cuban people will pay tribute to the beloved Sierra Maestra combatant.

The official mourning will take place between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. at which time all flags in public buildings and military facilities will remain at half-mast. / ACN
