The Qatari National Institute of Sanitary Quality has awarded the Cuban hospital of Dukhan, in Qatar, two important distinctions: the Annual Stars of Excellence Award, for achieving excellence in the quality of health and safety of the patient, and a recognition to the venous thrombosis prophylaxis team, for the continuous commitment, dedication and hard work, with a contribution that is making a difference in that Arab State.

 

The Territorial Center for Infertile Couple Care in the province of Holguín has among its results in 2019 the achievement of more than 180 pregnancies through high technology care.

 

Mr. Tatsuhiro Mitamura, director of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in Cuba, toured several Holguín hospitals benefiting from medical equipment and technical advice through this collaboration program in force since 2018.

 

The Holguín health professionals who were in Bolivia and Ecuador have returned to the homeland after writing indelible pages of human solidarity and the fight for the health and well-being of the thousands of patients assisted during their stay in those Latin American countries.
