The Iberoarte 2022 International Crafts Fair, sponsored by the Cuban Fund for Cultural Goods (FCBC), began this Thursday in the Cuban eastern city of Holguín with an artistic gala that highlighted the cultural traditions of Peru, the nation to which the event is dedicated.

The personal exhibition " Conociéndome a mí mismo " (Knowing myself), by the artist Alfonso Tamayo Demetry, was opened on Thursday as part of the activities for the 28th Ibero-American Culture Festival taking place in the province of Holguín.

The cultural ties that unite the peoples of the United States and Cuba are present once again in the 28th edition of the Ibero-American Culture Festival through the photographic exhibition "Peleas de gallo" by Bob Michael and the jazz musician León Quincy in an event that gathers artists, researchers and cultural promoters in the city of Holguín from October 24 to 30.

The 28th edition of the Ibero-American Culture Festival takes place from today in Holguín until October 30 with an extensive program of activities that includes concerts, exhibitions, artistic solidarity brigades and an archeology day.
