The subsidiary of the Cuban Fund for Cultural Assets (FCBC) in Holguín celebrates its 35th anniversary with a wide program of activities that includes commercial, exhibition and social events.

The photographic exhibition "Luces de un Diario", which comprises 40 pictures inspired by José Martí's Campaign Diary, was opened on Wednesday at the Casa de la Prensa in Holguín as part of the activities in this province for the 60th anniversary of the Union of Cuban Journalists (UPEC).

The city of Gibara benefits from a renovation project that includes rehabilitation, repair and construction of houses, multi-family buildings, parks, squares and the malecon, the latter designed to protect the coastal city from natural phenomena. The Provincial Center of Plastic Arts in the city of Holguín welcomed the collective exhibition of the Yeti community project founded 24 years ago by the artist Agustín Villafaña in Havana, which now has a headquarters in this eastern Cuban city.
