The Mexican ambassador to Cuba, Miguel Ignacio Díaz, reported that this is the eighth shipment of aid for the Cuban people and emphasized that the action reflects President Claudia Sheinbaum’s commitment to supporting the Cuban people in the face of the economic blockade imposed by Washington.

Gerardo Hernández Nordelo, one of the Five Cuban Heroes and national coordinator of the Committees for the Defense of the Revolution, asserted from Havana that the indictment presented this week by the U.S. Department of Justice against revolutionary leader and Army General Raúl Castro lacks any legal or moral foundation. He further warned that it could serve as a “pretext for Washington to launch a military aggression against the Caribbean island.”

In response to the latest accusations made by the U.S. government against Army General Raúl Castro Ruz, leader of the Cuban Revolution, the people mobilized Friday morning at the Anti-Imperialist Tribunal in the capital to raise their voices in defense of the homeland, the country’s leadership and national sovereignty. The rally in Havana was presided over by Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel.
