Cuba maintains active clinical-epidemiological and microbiological surveillance at all levels of care of the National Health System, including border transit, to detect the circulation of respiratory viruses.
The project aims to improve prevention and healthcare in Cuba, with actions focused on strategic lines such as sex education for at-risk populations, the acquisition of contraceptive supplies, diagnostic tests, and training teachers and primary healthcare personnel.
On the occasion of World Environment Day, which is celebrated every June 5, Cuba will concentrate its efforts, like the rest of the world, on the restoration of ecosystems, under the slogan Reimagine your environment, announced on Wednesday authorities of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment (CITMA), in Havana.
