Holguín’s Manduley and Peña to play baseball in Venezuela

Jorge Luis Peña. Photo: Carlos RafaelHolguín shortstop Yordan Manduley and outfielder Jorge Luis Peña traveled to Venezuela on Tuesday, where they were hired to play with the Navegantes de Magallanes team, of the country's professional league.
The news was announced in meeting of the national baseball federations with the press, which takes place every Monday in Havana.
This is the second signing for Manduley after several seasons in the Can-Am League, while Peña makes his debut, a good opportunity for him to continue improving as a player.
In the meeting, it was also announced the LXI national series, which will begin in the second half of August 2021, with a structure similar to the current one.
It was also announced the National Tournament Sub-23, set for the first semester next year.
