The delivery of 300 sets of metal bands for wheelchairs stands out among the actions to increase the quality of life of patients with severe disabilities, whose condition require these means to go places.

Ensuring greater relevance of the University of Holguin from the initial and ongoing training of professionals and research was the objective of the 5th Workshop University-Society held at the headquarters of José de la Luz and Caballero of this Center of Higher Studies.

In the next two years, the Holguin tourism destination expects to reach almost 10 thousand accommodation capacities with the opening of new hotels under construction and the expansions underway in other facilities in this eastern Cuban territory.

This Cuban destination currently has more than 5, 450 rooms, distributed mainly in areas of sun and beach.

The modernization of technological equipment in the agricultural area "La Yuraguana", in an effort of the Cuban State to improve the agricultural work, will contribute to increase food production and resolve the difficulties related to the lack of work force for these tasks.
