The Cuban Press Day in Holguín began with a symbolic journey to the Sao Corona cave, where in 1895 the newspaper "El Cubano Libre" was reissued by Antonio Maceo. This marked the start of the celebrations that will extend until March 15.

The Revolution Square Major General Calixto García Íñiguez and the Office of Monuments and Historical Sites of Holguín have launched the digital photography contest "Patrimonio en un click" (Heritage in a click) in celebration of the upcoming International Day of Monuments on April 18.

Miguel Díaz-Canel, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba (CCPCC) and President of the Republic, began a tour of the eastern province of Holguín today with a visit to the Marcané Porcine Center in the municipality of Cueto.

Holguín farmers concluded the municipal assemblies of the XIII Congress of the National Association of Small Farmers (Anap) with the commitment to continue as strong ally of the Revolution and fulfill the task of producing food for the people.
