Holguín campaign promotes recreation for children and youth

In Holguín, the "A Summer Always Young" campaign promotes various recreational activities for children and youth during the summer, organized by cultural, sports, and government institutions.
Edenis Olivera, program coordinator for the provincial government said that a territorial strategy was designed to promote healthy entertainment and the appropriate use of free time, prioritizing the family unit and focusing on community spaces.
The José Martí Art Instructors Brigade and the network of Cultural Houses, bring festivals, concerts, and workshops with a variety of artistic expressions to Holguín families.
Activities planned include the children's creative courses “The Ark of I Don't Know What” organized at the Provincial Center for Plastic Arts, with the aim of educating children in techniques, forms of perception and the enjoyment of color from an early age
The Provincial Film Center's programming of national and international films, along with animation and film appreciation workshops aimed at all audiences are also among the activities carried pout in this eastern territory.
For its part, the Popular Camping Company organizes activities in beaches and recreational areas adapted to the interests of children and young people, incorporating participatory games and collaboration with amateur artists and the community.
The campaign Verano Siempre Joven (Forever Young Summer) in Holguín celebrates the 99th anniversary of the birth of the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro Ruz, bringing his memory closer to new generations through exhibitions, film screenings, and children's theater performance.
