Holguín to launch scientific journals in digital format

The publication of 14 scientific journals in digital format stands out among the initiatives of the province of Holguín for the development of computerization programs of Cuban society.
Leonardo Nieves, specialist of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment in the territory, said that Ciencias Holguín, Correo Científico Médico, Tecnología Avanzada and the newsletter Bimestre Holguinero are among the journals to be published in digital format.
He explained that this contribute to the dissemination of advances in science and technological innovation in the territory, where there are more than 40 projects, whose results have been socialized by this way.
According to Nieves, the publications are registered in the national registry, which has allowed the dissemination of more than 500 articles written by Holguín authors.
Also, the preparation of brochures and the generation of content for the Ecured and La Mochila websites, dedicated to the publication of topics of Cuban economic and social life, history, culture, traditions, among others, indicated the specialist.
