Holguín Company Prioritizes Works in the Tourism Sector

The Holguín Company for Design and Engineering Services “Vértice”, National Quality Award 2016, includes tourism within its key sectors of work in the national economy.
One of the main projects currently promoted by the entity, along with the French company Bouygues Batiment International (BBI), is the hotel complex on the peninsula El Ramón de Antilla,on the coasts of the Nipe bay, the largest among those existing in Cuba.

Ivet Planas, head of that department in Vértice, said that they are currently working in the construction of the Baracutey-59 hotel, named for the beach area where the facility is located, designed for a total of 860 rooms and other areas for the enjoyment of those who visit the facility from 2020, according to the construction project.
Planas said brigades started this month the earthmoving works for the construction of the second hotel in that area, the Baracutey-61, whilethe development of the architecture project and its structures and facilities is planned for December.
In addition to the hotel facilities, it is also planned the construction of an international clinic and a shopping center in that area of the eastern territory, where Vértice is also linked in the design work.
The project of the shopping center, according to the specialist, is ambitious from the perspective of its design and would become the largest in the province, formed by different structures that function harmoniously as a whole, decorated with the work of the Spanish surrealist painter Salvador Dalí.
She added that the project also inlcudes the construction of a gallery of shops, cafeteria, a bowling alley and the first swimming pool built in a shopping center in Holguín.
Vértice is linked to key sectors of the national economy, such as tourism among others with direct participation in works of the poles of this branch in Guardalavaca, Pesquero, Gibara and El Ramón de Antilla, located about 100 kilometers from the city of Holguin.
