In Holguín province all the necessary conditions are created to develop the documentation and legalization procedures of the equipment to be used in the new modalities of computerization of society.
The resolutions 98 and 99 issued by the Ministry of Communications (MINCOM) that regulate the use of the Cuban radio will enter into force as of the 29th this month.
The first of the regulations is related to the use of high-speed wireless systems in the 2.4 Giga Hertz (GHZ) frequency bands, while the second is intended to establish the regulations for the use of private data networks.
Roimer Cruz Pérez, specialist of the Territorial Communications Directorate in Holguín, said to the Cuban News Agency that since the announcement of the provisions by MINCOM, different channels were enabled in the eastern city in order to receive and clarify doubts of the population that will benefit from this service.
The most frequent questions are related to the areas where overhead wires will be installed, how to obtain the licenses and the access to the service from ETECSA's Nauta points, in addition to the characteristics of the connectivity between owners and users, Cruz explained.
These benefits, he added, will prevent interference in the Cuban radio spectrum, since the connection of private networks through this route will have a remarkable reach from its installation in residential areas without interfering with the wiring on the public roads, in addition to allowing content exchange, internet navigation, game downloads, movie banks and internal chat.
