Attractive proposals for the beginning of summer in Holguín

The Provincial Direction of Culture and the Summer Commission in the eastern province of Holguín have prepared an attractive and varied program for the very near beginning of the summer stage. On Saturday the central activities will begin in the coastal municipality of Antilla, where cultural, sports and gastronomic proposals will prevail.
Meanwhile, in the city of Holguín, on Sunday at four o'clock in the afternoon will leave the parade early summer from the home of elderly "Pedro Vázquez" to the baseball stadium "Calixto García", with talents from the Provincial Center of Music and Performing Arts.
That night there will be the Opening Summer Gala, and the awarding of his song theme for this year, which will be in charge of the groups of the Music Marketing Company and the Shows "Faustino Oramas".
La Casa de Iberoamérica proposes for the same day the semifinal of the contest looking for "La voz del Mariachi", with the presence of the group "Mariachi Las Guadalupes", the soloist Ernesto Infante, and his host "Mariachi Holguín".
Simultaneously, in all the municipalities and popular councils, activities will be carried out with amateur and professional artistic talent of the province to celebrate the beginning of the summer stage.
For this weekend, from Friday 28 to June 30, the so-called "Verbenas de San Pedro" are organized in the municipality of Cacocum, which celebrates the patron saint of that locality.
While the Provincial Heritage Center prepares from July 2 the historic tour "Knowing our patriot insigne", with visits to the statue of "Calixto Garcia" in the park that bears his name, the Birthplace Museum and the card that identifies the house where Lucía Iñiguez Landín lived and died, mother of the glorious Holguín patriot. /Radio Angulo
