Holguín Municipality Launches the Website Portal del Ciudadano

El Portal del Ciudadano of the municipality of Báguanos is available to Internet users, to become the third in Cuba to foster an increasingly inclusive and participatory environment of citizens, by strengthening their ties with the Municipal Assembly of People’s Power.
On this website and associated social networks, citizens can find news, useful information about their territory, procedures and services. It will also allow people to issue criteria, suggest tasks and actions and praise good performances.
Its attractive visuality and design allow the user to navigate easily when accessing the address www.baguanos.gob.cu, where you will also find the characteristics and composition of the Municipal Assembly and the way to contact its managers.
The action is included in the process of computerization of the Holguín society and development of electronic government to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of public management, as recommended by the President of the Councils of State and Ministers of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez.
Báguanos is the first municipality to launch this website, preceded by Holguín, which opened the Portal del Ciudadano on December 2018, one of the first five in the country.
