Since 2016, the World Kidney Day is celebrated each year throughout the world on the second Thursday of March, as initiative of the International Society of Nephrology (ISN) and the International Federation of Kidney Foundations (IFKF), aimed at promoting renal health, starting from of prevention.

The software Imagis® 2.0 is being installed in the three provincial hospitals of Holguín, with the purpose of improving the quality of the Imageology Services, as part of the Eastern Network of Medical Images project in Cuba.
