The Provincial Summer Commission together with the authorities of the province of Holguín have designed a wide program of cultural activities for the closing of the summer season in the northeastern region of Cuba.
Starting in 2025, the Gibara International Film Festival will be called the Gibara International Low-Budget Film Festival, in accordance with the founding principles set forth by its founder, Humberto Solás, in his Low-Budget Film Manifesto.
The 18th Gibara International Film Festival, being held in this eastern Cuban city, will close on Saturday with the awarding ceremony of the 2024 Lucia de Honor Award in several categories.
A theoretical forum dedicated to post-production services, with representatives of Estudios Churubusco Azteca S.A. was held in Gibara, as part of the activities for the 18th International Film Festival taking place in this coastal city of Holguín province.
The 18th Gibara International Film Festival opened in that eastern coastal town on Tuesday, which will be characterized by music, films, awards and tributes until August 10.
