The 15th edition of the Jibarama Environmental Film Festival takes place from today until June 7 in Gibara, dedicated on this occasion to the 85th anniversary of the founding of the Speleological Society of Cuba.

The Music with Humor Festival is taking place in the city of Holguín from today until June 4th, dedicated to the 114th anniversary of the birth of Faustino Oramas, a Cuban troubadour and tres player internationally recognized for songs like "Ay Candela" and "Como baila Marieta."

The Fiesta de los Abrazos in Holguín, during the 32nd Romerías de Mayo (May Pilgrimages), is a fraternal space that brings together Cuban and foreign youth to demand an end to the U.S. economic blockade against Cuba and to promote peace and social justice.

The audiovisual event Camara Azul (Blue Chamber) in Romerías de Mayo festival, was a propitious space to announce the opening of the call for entries for the 46th edition of the International Festival of New Latin American Cinema.
