Moa hosts event on young art

Convened by the session of Cinema, Radio and Television of the UNEAC and the Movement of Artists and Intellectuals of the Nickel (MOAENÍ) in Moa, the First Meeting of the Eastern Cuba of Young Art Desde el Este, contar lo bello takes place here from December 5 to7.
Based in the Aula Magna of the University “Dr. Antonio Núñez Jiménez ”, the event gathered artists, intellectuals, researchers, scientists, professors, artisans, filmmakers and art lovers who participate in ARTEFAB of the CUBANIQUELgroup, as well as members of the José Martí Brigade of art instructors and the Hermanos Saíz Association.
Under the slogan “The City we want on the 80th Anniversary of the foundation of Moa”, participants are addressing topics related to audiovisuals, craft and plastic arts exhibitions, sociocultural and environmental projects, as well as results of scientific researches.
According to the organizers, “everything that validates a city in cultural transformation in favor of a responsible Environmental Culture and Ethics will be taken into account, including reflection and intelligent controversy, which will contribute to the strengthening of our identity as a vital space for the prosperous development of the Cuban nation of which we are an indissoluble part. ”
The meeting has the participation of about 50 delegates, representatives of mass organizations and the directors of the local institutions.
