Italian Airline connects Europe with Eastern Cuba

With the arrival of a flight from Rome, Italy, at Frank País International Airport in Holguín, Neos Air inaugurated a direct route between the European nation and eastern Cuba, which will boost tourism between the two countries.
This service establishes weekly direct flights from Rome to Holguín, every Thursday, facilitating air connections to this destination and also offering other Europeans the opportunity to travel to the northeastern region.
Yuset Vargas Ricardo, delegate of the Ministry of Tourism in Holguín, noted that although all the arriving passengers were independent travelers, the connection will help restore operations to the destination, especially during the current summer season.
She commented that the start of this operation demonstrates the possibility of maintaining long-haul routes despite the complex situation in the country and reaffirms the Italian airline Neos' confidence in Cuba as a destination.
