Holguín honors Commander in Chief Fidel Castro

The Raúl Camayd hall of the Eddy Suñol Theater in Holguín hosted the political and cultural gala " Te vemos por todas partes” (We See You Everywhere), with which the people of this eastern city paid tribute to the historical leader of the Cuban Revolution Fidel Castro, on the occasion of the seventh anniversary of his physical disappearance.
The gala was chaired by Teresa Amarelle, general secretary of the Federation of Cuban Women; Ernesto Santiesteban, member of the Central Committee and first secretary of the Provincial Committee of the Party; Manuel Hernández, governor of the province; and other authorities of the territory.
Under the artistic direction of Grisel Velázquez, director of the Ronda de los Sueños Children's Company, the event featured the talent of the Mestizaje project, the troubadour Laynier Verdecia, the Golden Voices group, the Provincial Concert Band, the pianist Joel Rodríguez Milord, and students from different artistic education centers in the province.
During the evening, young Palestinian doctors graduated in Cuba thanked Fidel for the opportunity to have been trained in our homeland, and presented a seal of friendship to the Presidency.
