Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez on Tuesday condemned the persecution of ships, shipping companies and insurance companies to deprive the Caribbean island of fuel, and described it as a criminal action by the Government of the United States.
The flooding caused by the swelling of the Salado and Matamoros rivers, due to the heavy rains of recent days, isolated 194 inhabitants of the Altagracia community, in the municipality of Cacocum, in Holguín, where no greater damages are reported due to compliance with the measures established for the protection of the population and the economy in the face of such adversities.

Cuba warned at the UN how the promotion of the so-called responsibility to protect can be manipulated and used for political purposes to facilitate interference and agendas such as regime changes.
