Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel will speak Tuesday at the Delivering Climate Action: for People, Planet and Prosperity Meeting at the 76th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
President Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez thanked countries which have taken a courageous, dignified position, denouncing exclusions from the Summit of the Americas, and stated that he will not attend the meeting, in any case.
On Thursday, Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez said that the Joe Biden administration maintained, in 2022, the policy of maximum pressure of his predecessor, Donald Trump, to make Cuba's economy collapse.
