Cuban Team Arrives in Mexico for the Under-15 Baseball World Cup

The Cuban team that will participate in the Under-15 Baseball World Cup held its first training session in this city today.
The team will debut tomorrow against the Dominican Republic, and will then face South Africa, Japan (the reigning champion), Germany, and the host nation, Mexico, as part of Group A.
Group B consists of Australia, the Czech Republic, Venezuela, Nicaragua, Chinese Taipei, and the United States.
According to the competition schedule, the top three teams from each group will advance to the Super Round, carrying over their results from their group matches. The remaining teams will have to settle for the Consolation Round.
The matches will take place at Beto Ávila Stadium in Cancún (Group A) and Kukulcán Álamo Park in Mérida (Group B). (Source: RHC)
