Holguín to host 21st Ibero-American Congress of Thought

The Casa de Iberoamérica and the University of Holguín will host the 21st Ibero-American Congress of Thought from October 25 to 27 under the slogan “Ancestral Cultures, Contemporary Perspectives”.
The event, which will be held in a hybrid format, will bring together authors, presenters, participants, and observers interested in sharing experiences through articles, lectures, pre- and post-congress courses, and audiovisual presentations, both in person and virtually. The proposals selected by the Scientific Committee will be included in the event proceedings, which will be published with an ISBN.
The Congress will include six forums dedicated to the relationships between ancestral cultures and modernity; social thought, national identity, and heritage; gender studies; contemporary sociodemographic studies; the socio-educational context; and, as a sixth theme, albinism from the perspectives of associations, sociocultural approaches, and advances in health in Cuba and around the world. The call prioritizes works with critical and proactive perspectives.
According to the Organizing Committee, acceptance of submitted proposals will be notified between September 20 and 25, while registration fees can be paid from September 20 to October 15. The fee for national delegates is 1000 CUP and includes participation in the Congress sessions, accreditation, publication in the proceedings, and certification with academic credit. Pre- and post-event courses will have an additional cost of 100 CUP.
