Holguin to Improve Quality of Life of its Population

Photo: Lisandra Cardoso / Radio AnguloFor several years, the province of Holguin has been developing local development projects that comprise the most intricate popular councils, including the Turquino Plan, in order to improve the quality of life of the population. In this regard, the government in the territory put efforts and resources into improving the areas where most problems were identified and to the sectors with the greatest economic impact.
The same way, this achievement has been possible thanks to the territorial contribution of one percent and the commitment of local authorities to continue improving Holguin.
Idania Ricardo Leal, vice president of the Provincial Administration Council, stressed to the local media the need to join efforts among companies to bring these services to the population in these communities.
In 2018, Holguin will work to increase the production and sale of construction materials to those affected by meteorological phenomena and achieve good results in food production.
Polyclinics, hospitals, schools, gastronomic centers, among other facilities, will receive total or partial repairs, as well as investments will be made in order to revive the life of coastal and mountainous communities that have been deteriorated over the years. / With infromation from Radio Angulo
