Holguin Education Sector with Wide Investment Program in 2018

The education sector in the province of Holguín undergoes an investment program of over three million pesos, mainly aimed at structural problems and the equipment of its facilities. Reynaldo Pupo, head of the Investment Department at the provincial directorate of Education, indicated among the works of greater impact the construction of a kitchen-dining room in the school Julián Agüero of the municipality of Sagua de Tánamo.
He explained that the building action will allow the center to become the first semi-boarding school of the mountainous community for the benefit of working mothers in the region.
Regarding the maintenance and repair plan, Pupo explained that this year about a hundred schools and day care centers throughout the territory will benefit from the investment plan.
In this sense, he highlighted the integrality as the fundamental principle on which these projects are based, which include among their actions the waterproofing of roofs, replacement of hydro-sanitary networks and carpentry replacement.
Pupo also referred the construction in 2018 of the educational complexes Dagoberto Sanfield in the city of Holguín and another in the town of Antilla, as part of the social infrastructure being built there to respond to the plan of tourism management of the peninsula El Ramón, a new and competitive destination. / ACN
