Safety and health at work are a priority for Holguin professionals

The education sector in the province of Holguín has carried out a variety of actions as part of the National Day of Health and Safety at Work held throughout the month of November and which in 2018 carries the slogan "Safe and stable generation, dedicated to young people". Among the main initiatives are the acts of beginning and closing the day in schools, training actions on toxic habits, food, alcoholism, HIV-AIDS, smoking, cholera and the epidemiological situation said Noel Perez, head of Human Resources in the Provincial Directorate of Education.
In relation to the health of the teacher, the aim is to minimize the risks of the appearance of professional illnesses fundamentally associated with the voice, commented the director.
In order to improve the occupational health of the education professional, efforts are being made to improve the working conditions of teachers, Pérez concluded.
