The Paradisus Río de Oro hotel, located in the Cuban eastern province of Holguín, receives the candidacy in the Best Hotel with Spa segment.
The hotel, conceived only for adults aged 18 years or more, with 354 rooms, stands out for its comfort, spa and wellness, as well as for its exclusive service in the Royal Service area.
The Meliá Buenavista and Paradisus Río de Oro hotels were nominated for the Award for Excellence awards presented by Condé Nast Johansens, reported the Spanish chain that operates in Cuba.
Meliá Hotels has been operating on the island for more than 25 years, and on several occasions its facilities in the largest of the Antilles have been recognized worldwide.
The official statement issued this Wednesday by Meliá Cuba, adds that Meliá Buenavista, located in the center-north Cayo Santa María, is among those selected in the category Best for Weddings, Parties or Special Occasions.
Located in an ecological environment surrounded by small beaches and inlets, it constitutes an oasis of peace and privacy; In addition, the Meliá Buenavista is an all-inclusive resort for adults only, offering its clients the luxury and exclusivity of The Level service in its 105 rooms.
The Award for Excellence is one of the most notorious awards for excellence in the travel and tourism industry.
The nominations are the result of the online voting system, guest quality surveys and the assessment of the international team of inspectors. The Meliá statement states that the votes are open until Friday, October 19.
