The Commerce and Gastronomy Services business group of the Cuban province of Holguin budgeted over 16 million pesos aimed at improving the services in those two important branches.
Iver Peña, the director of the Department and investments and development told the CNA that the focus mainly went to renovation and enlargement of facilities like restaurants, cafeterias, bars and Italian restaurants.
The largest part of the works were done from January to July, to salute the 65th anniversary of the attacks to the garrisons Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Cespedes, in Santiago de Cuba and Bayamo, respectively.
These latest investments also included the change of furniture, chinaware and other goods to provide customers with better services, said Peña.
Iver Peña said that those investments that benefit large and small towns in the 14 municipalities of Holguin province also comprise the construction works in many shops. /Radio Angulo
