Morales Ojeda visited Holguín province

Roberto Morales Ojeda, member of the Political Bureau and Secretary of Organization of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, made a visit to the province of Holguín as part of a tour through the eastern region of the country, focusing on institutions recognized for their innovation.
One of the chosen locations was the Héroes del 26 de Julio Mechanical Company, where a series of agricultural implements were demonstrated, as well as their effectiveness and long-term potential. "In the current context, they have not stopped production. They have implemented creative resistance and innovation using available resources," Ojeda said.
On his tour, he also visited the Bucanero Brewery S.A. to review the objectives set for this year. With a workforce of 437, the company aims to revolutionize e-commerce, continue investing in university training, market research, and new packaging.
Advances were presented such as the new 473 ml can format recently launched and a plan to increase malt production, a highly demanded beverage in Cuba.
The visit to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the Octavio de la Concepción University Pediatric Hospital in la Pedraja, established in 1982, highlighted the role of medical care in the province. Together with the medical staff, Morales Ojeda urged the expansion of projects of this nature, where pediatric care is prioritized.
Finally, Morales Ojeda visited the Intensive Care Unit of the Octavio de la Concepción de la Pedraja University Pediatric Hospital, founded in 1982. He recognized the importance of this teaching medical unit, which trains specialists and cares for pediatric patients from one month to 18 years old, and encouraged the promotion of projects that prioritize child healthcare in the region.
