Holguín to host the 2026 “Arte para Mamá” Traditions Fair

The “Arte para Mamá” (Art for Mom) Traditions Fair, dedicated to Mother's Day, will take place from May 2nd to 9th at the ExpoHolguín fairgrounds of this eastern city.
Danilo López Garcés, curator and specialist at the Holguín branch of the Cuban Fund for Cultural Assets (FCBC), confirmed the participation of the provinces of Havana, Granma, Guantánamo and Holguín, the host province.
The stands will exhibit textiles, footwear and other women's accessories in commemoration of the date. Also, visitors will be able to purchase useful household items, jewelry, and crafts made from materials such as glass and wood, among other things.
In recent years, a competition has been added to the FCBC's fairs to add more dynamism. This year, contests will be held for the 300th, 600th, 900th, 1200th, and 1500th visitors. Pregnant women, mothers of triplets, and others will also receive free admission.
The "Art for Mom" fair, which celebrates motherhood and family, will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and admission is 100 pesos.
