Secretariat of the Central Committee of the PCC visits Holguín

The Secretariat of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, together with members of its auxiliary structure, make a comprehensive visit to the province of Holguín.
For three days, the members of the Secretariat will evaluate the agreements adopted in the 8th Congress of the PCC, its ideas, concepts and guidelines and will assess the functioning of the Party's base organizations.
They will also check the economic activity and the implementation of the measures adopted in the agricultural sector, those related to the sugar harvest, attention to the staff policy and assurance to the Popular Consultation of the Code of the Families.
The members of the secretariat will be accompanied by the highest political and governmental authorities of Holguín, headed by the first secretary of the PCC in the territory, Ernesto Santiesteban Velázquez.
