Canada Solidarity Brigade Arrives in Holguín

Twenty one activists with the Calixto Garcia Canadian solidarity brigade arrived in the eastern province of Holguín to express their support of the Cuban people.
This is the third visit by this brigade to eastern Cuba since it was set up in November 2018. The activists will visit places of historic interest and will take part at voluntary work; they will also visit work centers and local communities.
During a welcoming ceremony for the solidarity brigade, Holguín vice-governor Yunia Perez expressed satisfaction for the return of these visits coordinated by the Cuban Friendship Institute.
Communist Party Secretary in the eastern province Ernesto Santiesteban acknowledged the gestures of solidarity of the group named after Cuban independence fighter Calixto Garcia.
