Biological Diversity and Tourism Workshop BIOTUR 2021 to be held in December

The specialized tourism agency Ecotur convenes from December 13 to 15, in the provinces of Holguín and Santiago de Cuba, the Biological Diversity and Tourism Workshop BIOTUR 2021, the nature event par excellence in eastern Cuba.
The meeting will especially promote the Gibara tourist destination and the La Mensura National Park in the Pinares de Mayari area.
The morning of the first day will be dedicated to the theoretical part and in the afternoon and during the remaining two days there will be excursions and visits to places of ecological interest.
According to the program available on Ecotur's website, on December 13, participants will arrive in the town of Gibara, where the opening ceremony will be held at the Bahía del Almirante Hotel.
There will be a round of conferences and presentations of tourism products, a commercial exchange and tours of rural areas such as the Cerro Galano protected area, the Alcalá farm, the Cacoyugüín River and Los Panaderos Cave.
The La Mensura, Pico Cristal and Alejandro de Humboldt national parks will also be visited, with itineraries that will include visits to the Farallones Cave, the Salto del Guayabo and other spectacular landscapes of the region. /ACN
