The way films portray women, the differences between the male and female views, and a critical audience’s take on them were a topic for panel discussions in the International Poor Film Festival currently under way in Gibara, Cuba.
The 19th edition of the Gibara International Poor Film Festival opens today with the screening of the film Fenomenos Naturales (Natural Phenomena), directed by Cuban director Marcos Diaz Sosa, which will run until April 19 in this coastal city in the eastern province of Holguín.
With the world premiere of "Sentimientos. Odisea de la mente," in collaboration with Austrian choreographer Mike Loewenrosen, the Holguín dance company Codanza returns to stages on April 25, 26, and 27.
