Cuba’s Casa de las Américas has announced the criteria for its literary prize, which will be awarded in 2025 in the categories of poetry, short stories, and research on Latinos in the United States.

The 34th edition of the Festival of Son Music Groups, dedicated to promote the traditional Cuban music, will take place from today until December 22 in the Holguín municipality of Mayarí.

Almost 22 years after the death of the Holguín writer Lalita Curbelo Barberán, artists from the territory gathered their works this Saturday in an exhibition at the Holguín Gallery as tribute to her literary work.

The first edition of the festival of choral groups "Vocalis" began in the city of Holguín with a wide program of activities that includes concerts and talks, which will extend until November 15.
