The National Ballet of Cuba will perform at the Eddy Suñol Theater in the city of Holguín on Friday 14, Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 June, at 9 pm, with a varied program that includes major reruns and a premiere by the company.
These presentations are part of the activities for the 80th anniversary of the important Holguín coliseum and have as main attraction the incorporation of very young dancers both in the main roles and in the dance group.
The pieces chosen for this presentation are Estudio para 4, Muñecos, La muerte del cisne, the grand pas de Festival de las Flores in Genzano, Didenoi and the program closes with the premiere of La Fille du Danube, with Choreography, stage design and costumes by Alberto Méndez.
The leading roles of these presentations will be played by the first dancer Sadaise Arencibia, followed by a group of outstanding representatives of the Cuban ballet school, including Katerine Ochoa, Greta Yero, Yandy Álvarez and Roque Salvador.
On Sunday 16, at 11:00 a.m., the Cuban company will offer a didactic performance for children, with the presentation of the ballets Muñecos and La fille du Danube, by Alberto Méndez. / Radio Rebelde
