Holguín calls for Congress of Thought and Memoria Nuestra Award 2025

The Hermanos Saíz Association (AHS) in Holguín and the Organizing Committee of the Romerías de Mayo, call for the Congress of Thought and Memoria Nuestra Award to be held from May 3 to 7, 2025, as part of the World Festival of Artistic Youth.

In this edition, based on the creation of spaces and content, cultural sponsorship and the multiplicity of resources and funding sources, all in line with the Cuban cultural policy in favor of our society, the Organizing Committee of the Romerías de Mayo in 2025 has decided to dedicate its 32nd edition to "Cultural Industries in Favor of Young Art."
The event will address topics such as regional cultures and identity, cultural industries and their contribution to the creation, production and promotion of young art, as well as community experiences. This latter related to community projects that contribute to the development, rescue and conservation of local and regional traditions.
The event, the backbone of the World Festival of Artistic Youth, includes conferences and debates with the participation of foreign guests invited to other spaces of the Romerías de Mayo, with the aim to promote academic exchange and experiences from different sociocultural realities contributed by the various regions of the world that will be present at the Romerías de Mayo.
