In a message on the social network Twitter, the Cuban leader highlighted to Maduro the common eagerness to fight for a better world, without blockades, without walls, without coercive measures, and without empire.
"Venezuela celebrates the victory of our sister Cuba, today #3Nov at the #UN. There are 185 countries with a clear and forceful message: Enough of Blockade! These are times of a new humanity of respect. Long live the dignity of the Cuban people!", the Bolivarian leader had written this Thursday, upon learning the result of the vote in the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).
For his part, Evo Morales sent greetings to President Díaz-Canel and the Cuban people, for achieving a new victory, with 185 votes in favor, two against (United States and Israel) and two abstentions (Brazil and Ukraine).
He added to his tweet that the free peoples demand a blockade to the arms interventionism of imperialism, to which the Cuban head of state replied: "Thank you, Brother Evo. It is also a victory for Our America".
The day before, during the UNGA debate on the draft resolution "Necessity of putting an end to the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States of America against Cuba", the international community supported the island's demand for the thirtieth time.
