The health system in the province of Holguín maintains the control measures of COVID-19 for the protection of vulnerable sectors, even when the eastern territory reduces the incidence rates of the disease, declared a pandemic by the World Health Organization.

The director-general of Consular Affairs and Cuban Residents Abroad of the Cuban Foreign Ministry, Ernesto Soberón, affirmed Tuesday that the recent measures favored nationals abroad strengthen ties with that community and facilitate the return of those stranded by the impact of the Covid-19.
