Holguin with 20 Athletes for Central American Games 2018

barranquillaA total of 20 Holguin athletes are classified to participate in the Central American and Caribbean Games of Barranquilla, Colombia 2018, announced on Tuesday the Directorate of the National Institute of Sports and Physical Recreation (Inder ) in meeting with the specialized media of the province.
Among those who already have their ticket include the Holguin-based badminton player Taimara Oropesa, the shooter Leuris Pupo, gymnast Danay Utria, handball players Noelvis Roble and Ángel Jesús Rivero who play in international leagues, decathlete Leonel Suárez and weightlifter Juan Colombié.

Holguin will be also represented in sports such as softball, cycling and rowing, with the possibility to include about 13 more athletes who are expected to classify in competitions to take place in the coming months.
