Cuba lost the second game of the match against the US national university squad taking place in Havana´s Latinoamericano stadium.

Americans won 3-0 this time over a team which again evidenced its poor offensive when batting only three hits against three pitchers.

The win went to right-hander starter Zack Hess, who, along with relievers Jake Agnos and Max Meyer, managed to retire 18 Cuban hitters consecutively, thus proving the disastrous moment the Caribbean line-up is going through, they only batted 5 hits in the first game.

Roy Hernandez, Cuba´s starter, earned the loss after allowing three runs in 1.1 innings.

After this result, the visiting team amounts two consecutive victories and the third game of a five-game match will be held today.

The current match is the seventh after its resume in 2012 and in the six previous ones the balance of wins favors 4-2 to the Americans, who have already won 18 of the 32 games if adding the two of the present match. / ACN
