The Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment in the province of Holguín carries out actions aimed to the protection of soils, as part of the strategy to preserve this natural resource and the  implementation of  the Life Task State's plan to counter climate change.

 

The province of Holguín reports another positive case for COVID-19 among the 749 PCR samples performed in the last 24 hours, thus adding four patients in the last 15 days, one of them deceased.

 

The Defense Councils in the Holguín municipalities of Antilla and Banes have expanded hygienic-sanitary actions in recent days as part of the measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 after the report of a positive patient who has already died from the new coronavirus Sars-Cov2.

 

The University of Holguín prepared its Celia Sánchez Manduley headquarters to be used as an isolation center, due to the appearance of new positive cases of COVID-19 in the territory during the past week, after 100 consecutive days without reporting positive cases.
