The province of Holguin will have a stand at the upcoming ExpoCaribe-2019 International Trade Fair, with headquarters at the Heredia Theater in Santiago de Cuba, from June 19 to 22.
The sixteenth edition of the event will feature 29 companies and Holguin entities, which will exhibit their own products and services and will promote business and enhance their trade and investment activities, from their portfolio of opportunities.
"The eastern region of the Island will become an exhibition case to the Caribbean and the world, so that the economic strengths of the region can be observed. And Holguin will take advantage, because by tradition it has always been represented, "said Hilda Rosa Santiesteban, director of the Chamber of Commerce in Holguin and Las Tunas.
She added that one of the main objectives is to know non-traditional exportable items, before the call of the country to consolidate the vocation in that sense.
The Holguin sectors with greater representation are the Ministries of Construction and Energy and Mines, in the latter with a strong assistance from the nickel industry.
Of the entities subordinated to the Council of the Provincial Administration, five companies were registered.
The ExpoCaribe International Trade Fair is held on a biennial basis in the Hero City, and this 16th edition will host the first Foreign Investment Forum, sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Cuba, and the 12th Business Forum of the Great Caribbean, sponsored by the Association of Caribbean States.
"The event will serve to launch the International Fair ExpoHolguin-2020, which will take place in March," concluded Hilda Rosa Santiesteban.
