Gibara announces Community Day for Infants and Adolescents Filmmakers

The Community Day for Infants and Adolescents Filmmakers: Environmental Connection will take place from March 29 to April 1 in the municipality of Gibara, Holguín.

The event will feature workshops dedicated to children, adolescents and young people on Podcasts, offered by the student of jurnalism Ada María Bruceta Córdova and ``The Spot as an audiovisual resource to protect the environment,'' by the journalist Lazaro Abel García Gómez.

The conference aims to show nature, its diversity and identify problems that affect it and contribute to the protection of the environment through audiovisual language, Bárbara López Hernández, director of the event, said to the digital newspaper! ahora!
The program includes a contest on visual arts for children from the different primary schools of the municipality.

The event will conclude on the 31st with workshops on audiovisual techniques for members of the socio-community group and exhibition of educational programs for children from the Hipólito Calderón Special School.

Under the slogan: "Connected in harmony with the environment", the event will be dedicated to the 130th anniversary of the birth of Joaquín Fernández de la Vara Pi, the 100th anniversary Antonio Núñez Jiménez and the seven years of the physical disappearance of Berta Cáceres Flores.
