More than 300 health collaborators from the Cuban eastern province of Holguín have helped to fight the Covid-19 pandemic in some 35 countries.
Among the collaborators who made up the Henry Reeve brigade are the nurse Liliana Martínez Aguilera, who provided help in Antigua and Barbuda, as well as the doctors Jorge Luis Quiñones and Juan Alberto Aguilera Pérez, who for two months and 17 days faced the pandemic in the Italian region of Lombardy.

Other three Holguín members of the brigade in Turin are almost back in the Homeland, where together with 35 Cuban and Italians doctors helped to fight the new coronavirus in that city in northern Italy.
Likewise, epidemiologist Adrián Benítez Proenza, from the municipality of Báguanos , the young doctors Luis Miguel Osoria Mengana and Maurio González Hernández, first-degree specialists in General Surgery and Endocrinology, respectively, both from the Fermín Valdés Domínguez military hospital.
Evelio Martínez Hernández, head of the Medical Collaboration Department at the Provincial Health Directorate, said since the start of the exits of brigades of Cuban collaborators to face the pandemic, Holguín has contributed 310 workers, most of them still remain in Kuwait (54), Mexico (50), United Arab Emirates (46), Qatar (42) and in other countries until completing 27.
He recalled that all mission personnel once they return to the country remain in quarantine for 14 days in Havana, and then return to their provinces.
