Health workers pays tribute to Holguín doctor who died in Mexico

Health satff at the Lucía Íñiguez Landín clinical surgical hospital of Holguín, on Tuesday paid tribute to Dr. Maximino Lamoth Quiala, who died on Sunday in Mexico, where he was carrying out an internationalist mission about eight months ago.
Doctors, nurses, technicians and other colleagues stood guard of honor and signed the book of condolences, saying goodbye to the specialist in Internal Medicine, who was one of the founders of the "Lucía Íñiguez".
Dr. Lamoth had an extensive record of service of more than 30 years in medical assistance in Cuba and in other countries, having provided collaboration in Burkina Faso, Timor Leste, Guyana and Mexico.
In the last post on his Facebook profile, on October 21, he wrote that after eight uninterrupted months of teamwork at the Regional University Hospital of Colima, he would go to another work scenario in the popular and well-known municipality of Manzanillo, in the same state of Colima.
His colleagues have expressed their feelings for the sudden loss Dr. Lamoth , including Dr. Boris Luis Carballo, who wrote: “Yesterday we communicated and you were fine, you had created a group a few weeks ago, which you called Real Friends... How right you were... Thank you very much for giving me the opportunity to share with you our birth in Sagua and all the moments we experienced together. I'm going to miss you until we see each other...EPD, Eternal Light brother"...
